Passover rentals in Israel: apartments, villas and holiday stays
The next Pesach in Israel begins at sundown on Wednesday, April 21, 2027 and ends at nightfall on Wednesday, April 28, 2027. Pesach 2026 has already passed. If some guests observe the Diaspora schedule, confirm whether they need an additional night before booking.
Use this page as a practical rental checklist for Pesach stays in Israel. The URL still contains 2025, but the content should be read as an evergreen planning hub and verified against current availability before any booking decision.
What to confirm before booking
- City, neighborhood, walking radius, elevator or stairs, parking, protected room or shelter access where relevant, and proximity to family, synagogue, groceries, or a hotel program.
- Sleeping layout, real bed count, seder table capacity, bathrooms, washer/dryer, linens, crib/high chair needs, and fridge/freezer/pantry space.
- Kitchen status: whether it is Pesach-ready, newly kashered, year-round kosher, or only a furnished kitchen. Ask what dishes, utensils, ovens, counters, sinks, and appliances are included.
- Written payment, deposit, cancellation, cleaning, utility, damage, and access terms. Do not rely on verbal promises for holiday bookings.
Kosher kitchen expectations
A rental should not be described as Pesach-ready unless the owner or host can explain what was cleaned, kashered, replaced, sealed, or left for the guest to handle. Kashering depends on material, use, condition, and halachic practice; some items or surfaces may not be kasherable for Pesach. When standards matter, ask your rabbinic authority before relying on a rental kitchen.
Booking timing and demand
Family-sized Pesach rentals can disappear early in popular neighborhoods. Compare the total stay cost, not only the nightly rate: holiday minimums, cleaning, deposits, cancellation, equipment, kitchen setup, and transport can change the real budget.

Pesach dates were verified with Hebcal’s Israel Pesach 2027 calendar. Kitchen wording was checked against OU Passover kashering guidance and the STAR-K Passover resource page.
