Questions people ask
When is refinancing worth it?
When the saving over the remaining years clearly beats the early repayment fees and the costs of the new loan. The adviser works this out in shekels before you commit.
Will my bank charge me to leave?
On prime and variable tracks the fee is usually small. Fixed tracks, linked or not, can carry a large fee when rates have fallen since you borrowed.
Can I refinance with my own bank?
Yes. The first step is often asking your bank to improve your terms, and an offer from a competing bank helps.
What does it cost?
Asking us and being introduced costs you nothing. Mortgage advisers in Israel are paid by you, not by the bank, so agree their fee in writing before they start. Before any introduction we tell you in writing whether we receive a referral fee.
