Inside the International Quarter: the latest numbers
The International Quarter (Ha-Rova Ha-Beinleumi) is one of Israel’s largest planned neighborhoods. According to the Lod Municipality and the Lod Economic Company, it is planned for roughly 11,350 housing units across about 1,600 dunams, in buildings of 7-15 storeys, with around 4,000 units already marketed and about 12 minutes to Tel Aviv via the Gani Aviv rail station.
Developer demand has been strong. In a 10 February 2026 Israel Land Authority market tender, developers committed roughly 461 million NIS for about 596 housing units (around 773,000 NIS per unit including land and development), across three winning compounds. A separate March 2026 tender saw Reissdor win a long-term-rental (Dira LeHaskir) lot of 265 units for about 72 million NIS.
