Questions people ask
Short answers to what people ask before booking a private driver or an airport transfer.
Booking, prices and drivers
How do I book a ride?
Fill in the booking form with where from, where to, the date and how many people. We come back with the price and the pickup details. The ride is booked only when you say yes to the price.
How much does a private ride cost?
It depends on the route, the time and the vehicle. You get the price before you book and you agree it before the ride, so there is no meter and no surprise at the end.
Can I ask for an English-speaking driver?
Yes. Choose "English-speaking driver" in the form. We confirm it when we send the price.
Can I ask for a Haredi driver?
Yes. Choose "Haredi driver" in the form. We confirm it when we send the price.
Do you drive on Shabbat or Yom Tov?
No. Friday rides are planned to arrive well before Shabbat, and we can pick you up after Shabbat or Yom Tov ends.
How many people fit?
A normal car takes up to 4 passengers. The Sprinter van seats 8 passengers. Tell us how many suitcases you have so we send the right vehicle.
Can you bring child seats?
Write the ages of the children in the form. We tell you what we can provide when we send the price.
Who drives?
Rides are run by Nesia Tova, Eli Shapiro's driver dispatch in Beit Shemesh. Semerenko Group takes your booking and stays your contact.
Can you take me to see apartments?
Yes. That is what Semerenko Group does: we line up the viewings and the driver takes you between them. See property viewing trips.
Ben Gurion Airport
How early should I leave for Ben Gurion?
For an international flight the airport asks passengers to arrive about three hours before take-off. We time your pickup to get you there by then.
Where do I meet the driver when I land?
We tell you the meeting point when we confirm the booking, before the day of the ride.
What if my flight lands late?
Send your flight number with the booking. We plan the pickup around your landing time.
Can a big family with lots of luggage travel together?
Yes. The Sprinter van seats 8 passengers and takes more luggage than a car.
